This is a big day for me. I don't bother trying to pretend it's just like any other day. It's not. This is the first day of my new life without cigarettes.
Consider this
As you go through your day, remember that every minute away from cigarettes is a success. Only 24 hours after quitting, the damage to your skin from smoking stops, and after 48 hours, the carbon monoxide level in your blood may return to normal.
Put the future out of your mind for now. Focus on not smoking today.
